ingenue-in-wonderland asked:
I got very worried when you said that you lost your words. I don't think it's possible for people to lose their words. Because words stay forever. They're there. Some of them are buried in the crevices of your hand, and others might me those little ink smudges or in crumpled up papers. In smiles, behind glossy lips or chapped lips there are words. There are forgotten words tumbling out of your hair, and even if they turn away- there are always pieces remaining. Waiting for you to grab their hand

My words, I feel, have turned against me dearest. I am straining for them, trying to clutch them with my fingertips and pull then closer until they are once again, humming inside of my chest. But they are resistant and merely hover outside my eyelids. They are not grateful for my attention and now they don’t sound right. Can you tell? They sound as though I am trying too bloody hard to get them right and they resent that intrusion. They are stiff and unhappy and I can feel it inside of me. Can you, too?

(This message was unbearably beautiful. Thank you so much.)
